The Cape Vulture is an Endangered species that is critically important to southern African ecosystems. The Magaliesberg Mountains host 10% of the global population. Vultures are often overlooked and perceived as lowly scavengers, but they play a crucial role in the environments in which they live. These scavengers do the dirty work of cleaning up after death, helping to keep ecosystems healthy and prevent the spread of disease. What would happen if there were no more vultures?
